The Oakville Academy for the Arts is a 12,000 square foot “state of the art” facility located at the corner of Upper Middle and Eighth Line. Student safety is a primary concern for the Academy and a monitored entrance and security cameras assist with the safety of our students. The Facility offers six spacious dance studios with injury preventative sprung floors and specially designed “non slip” flooring that is used on professional stages and venues. The studios have Premium Sound Systems, Pianos in the Ballet Studios, adjustable ballet bars in all studios, "state of the Art" climate control and air exchange, and acoustic containment.
The facility is equipped with acoustically sound rooms for instrumental, vocal and drama instruction. There is also a specially designed room for drum lessons which contains two drum sets.
The Academy is located beside the
Upper Oakville Shopping Centre and offers an assortment of shopping
opportunities and convenience needs to waiting parents.
